Cinnamon Biscoff Muddy Buddies (Vegan)
A delightfully sweet, crunchy snack that combines the tastes of Biscoff, grahams, and cinnamon. Its easy to prepare, fun to eat and dairy-free.
I love muddy buddies. I missed them after I became vegan; it’s such a sweet, fun treat. I finally realized I can continue to enjoy them; I just need to make them myself. These muddy buddies are elevated with the flavors of biscoff and cinnamon—wonderful flavors to usher in fall. The cereal is coated in a mixture of Biscoff butter and dark chocolate; cinnamon is added to the powdered sugar; and grahams and Biscoff cookies are added to the mix. A quick, flavorful, dairy-free treat perfect for a gathering or movie night snack.
What you will need:
I chose Life multi grain original cereal for this recipe. It is void of the ingredient D3, which can be questionable due to it’s sourcing. I also went with Nabisco Cinnamon Teddy Grahams. They are vegan and cute.
- cereal – I use Life multi grain original cereal
- dark chocolate – I used Lindt Excellence 70%
- Biscoff cookie butter
- powdered sugar
- cinnamon
- cinnamon Teddy Grahams
- Biscoff cookies
How to:
The muddy buddies can be prepared in one large container. I use a large container with a lid—one that is big enough to stir and coat the cereal in the chocolate mixture as well as add the powdered sugar and shake it up. If you do not have a large container with a lid, large ziplock bags can be used when it comes time to coat the cereal in the powdered sugar.
In a large bowl or container, add the cereal and set it aside. In a small pot, add the chocolate and Biscoff cookie butter. Place the pot over medium- to medium-low heat and melt the chocolate and Biscoff together. Once melted, remove the pot from the heat and whisk until the chocolate and Biscoff cookie butter are fully combined. Pour the biscoff mixture over the cereal and gently stir until all of the cereal is coated.
Set the coated cereal aside to cool slightly. While the cereal is cooling, measure out the powdered sugar. To the powdered sugar, add the cinnamon and whisk to combine. Once the cereal has cooled, add the powdered sugar/cinnamon mixture to the container. With the lid on the container, shake it until all of the cereal is covered in sugar. Again, if you do not have a container large enough or a container with a lid, ziplock bags can be used instead.
Pour the muddy buddies into a serving bowl and gently stir in the cinnamon Teddy Grahams and Biscoff cookie pieces.
Store the muddy buddies at room temperature in an airtight container.
Alright, let’s get started. Please make and enjoy!
