Sweetened Condensed Milk with Oat milk (Vegan)
A homemade vegan version of sweetened condensed milk made with oat milk. A dairy-free delight perfect for everything from coffee to ice cream.

- 2 cups oat milk
- ¾ cup cane sugar
- ½ tbsp vanilla extract
Pour the milk and sugar into a medium pot, place it over medium heat, and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Allow it to come to a boil and then turn the heat down, allowing it to simmer until it has reduced by half. This will take about 45 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep from burning. It will start to thicken slightly and become a more caramelized color.
Once it’s reduced by half, remove it from the heat and stir in the vanilla until combined. Pour into a heat-safe container and let it cool. Once cooled, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it should keep for up to 2 weeks.
