Oat Milk Sweetened Condensed Milk
A homemade vegan version of sweetened condensed milk made with oat milk. A dairy-free delight perfect for everything from coffee to ice cream.

- 2 cups oat milk
- ¾ cup cane sugar
- ½ tbsp vanilla extract
Pour the milk and sugar into a medium pot, place it over medium heat, and stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Allow it to come to a boil and then turn the heat down, allowing it to simmer until it has reduced by half- you want to end up with 1 cup of condensed milk. This will take about 45 minutes. Stir regularly as the mixture is reducing. It will start to thicken slightly and become a more caramelized color.
Once it’s reduced by half, remove it from the heat and stir in the vanilla until combined. Pour into a heat-safe container and let it cool. Once cooled, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it should keep for up to 2 weeks.
