Strawberry Coulis
This bright, sweet strawberry puree is a great addition to cakes, frozen desserts, cheesecakes and more. A simple three ingredients treat that could not be easier to make.

- 16 oz fresh strawberries ( if using frozen - 18oz frozen will yield 16oz defrosted)
- 3 tbsp cane sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon or lime juice
If you are using fresh strawberries, prep them by hulling them and cutting them into halves or even quarters. If using frozen strawberries, defrost them, drain them and halve or quarter them.
Place the prepped strawberries along with the sugar and juice into a blender. Blend the ingredients on high for 1 minute.
Once done blending, strain the coulis through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds.Store the coulis in an airtight container. It will remain fresh in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
