Blackberry Coulis

A lovely alternative to blackberry compote that enhances cake, ice cream, cheesecake and more. It is seedless, sweet and a great addition to the dessert of your choice.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz blackberries
  • 3 tbsp cane sugar (add more or less per personal preference)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (can also use lemon juice)

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend on high for 1 minute.
  • Pour the puree over a sieve to strain out the seeds.
    Keeps well in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. It also freezers well for a few months.
